Logan City Council is seeking quality applications to fill Casual Lifeguard positions at our aquatic centres. These positions offer an immediate start with the potential for ongoing work.
The Leisure Centres Program operates in various locations throughout the city (Logan North, Beenleigh, Bethania and Eagleby) and we pride ourselves on having clean, well maintained facilities for our staff and customers to enjoy.
- Diligently monitoring the aquatic centre, patrons and students
- Carry out rescues if/when required
- Contribute as part of a team so a safe an enjoyable environment

As a Lifeguard you will provide supervision, emergency rescue and first aid to patrons and staff as necessary. You will also be responsible for assisting with cleaning and maintenance of the facility. To be successful in the role you will need to possess the following current certificates:
- Applied First Aid
- Resuscitation Certificate
- RLSSA Pool Lifeguard
- Blue card (or be willing to obtain)
- Pool Operator's Certificate will be highly regarded
- Austswim or Swim Australia swim teaching certificate will be highly regarded
Applicants will be required to undergo a functional assessment and be assessed as being able to meet the functional requirements of the position.
