Working in this branch will see you fit into a Team that services the community. You'll lead a small team of Council employees and sub-contractors to deliver concreting works, including replacement of driveways, kerb and channel, gully pits, footpaths and pram ramps. All work is completed in accordance with Council's Corporate Plan, safety and within budget.

Sure, we're looking for an experienced and competent Leader, but you'll also be a pro-active thinker with well-developed interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude who keeps the community at the heart of all they do. You'll need to have strong experience in the construction of road and drainage works in rural / urban environments with a particular emphasis on concreting.
However, more important than experience, we're looking for someone with the following characteristics:
- You are outcomes oriented and take responsibility for delivering
- You work well in a team environment. You're a good communicator who strives for best practice and continuous development to improve team efficiency.
- We work in small teams, so it's a must that you are willing to complete physical work and do your part for the team.
- You put the community at the forefront of your decisions
