Who we are  

The City Standards and Animal Care branch is a large operational division which provides a broad and multidisciplinary portfolio of services which uphold the safety and liveability of Logan City. The services of the branch are delivered by regulatory and technical professionals through a range of diverse business units. The Amenity, Safety and Parking Program is critical in ensuring the entire city is a safe and appealing place to be.   

We are looking for an experienced senior leader in the field of regulatory compliance and enforcement, who brings a strong strategic vision, a track record in business transformation and an empathetic leadership style.  As the Program Leader, you will have the ability to shape the future of your workforce and drive flexible and collaborative ways of working. Your ability to bring out the best in your team, build capability and enable employees to play to their strengths in delivering excellent customer outcomes will ensure your success in this role.  

It's an exciting time to be leading this division, with the group currently preparing to transition to a new, $18 million facility over the months ahead. This transition will bring the opportunity to work with your team to codesign the workplace of the future, create growth and development opportunities from within and enable continued service excellence to the Logan community.

  • A demonstrated track record of senior leadership in the field of compliance and enforcement   
  • A values-based, strategic and outcomes driven approach    
  • Strong interpersonal abilities, resilience and emotional intelligence   
  • Excellent technical and analytical capabilities supported by tertiary qualifications and/or significant experience
