Major Projects Coordinator

About your next role

  • You'll manage Council's Major Projects development assessment team
  • You'll take ownership of major development applications from concept to completion
  • You'll coordinate delivery of critical infrastructure to support major developments

What you need to start:

  • Tertiary qualifications/degree in town planning
  • Experience leading a team and mentoring staff
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant provisions of planning and associated legislation, assessing development applications and infrastructure agreements
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret the codes, standards and regulations of a planning scheme and local laws
  • Excellent communication skills and competent in developing strong and trust-based relationships
  • An outcome and solution focussed approach, where you strive for excellence
  • A pro-active nature, with well-developed interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude, keeping the community at the heart of all that you do
  • Hands on experience in a similar role will be highly desireable
