The role will entail: - Management of incidents, service requests, initiatives and problem tickets
- Creation, modification of specialist advice via knowledge articles, templates and other relevant documentation
- Overall performance of applications and systems reporting
- Effective Client/Stakeholder engagement
- Ensuring vendors meet Logan City Council requirements and any applicable SLA’s
- On time delivery of projects and tasks
- Business intelligence initiatives that meet customer requirements and timeframes
- Strategic road mapping
- Design and development of information and analytics solutions in a changing technology landscape
- Documentation and participation in change management practices
- Active contribution to continuous improvement
You will bring: - Substantial experience in managing corporate information systems, including the ability to effectively solve complex issues. A degree qualification in a relevant field is desirable
- Previous experience in a senior systems role including the provision of high level support and analysis
- Previous experience in mentoring and training team members on applicable systems analysis practices and methodologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including previous experience managing and negotiating with vendors.
- Previous experience in delivering detailed comprehensive reports is essential
- Demonstrated capacity to provide specialist expertise and advice in the specified (or similar) corporate applications
- Demonstrated experience in the analysis of systems requests and creating relevant process improvements
- Demonstrated ability to assist with planning and executing successful projects with an understanding of project management methodologies
