About Us The Road Construction Program has the task of constructing and rehabilitating roads, stormwater drainage systems and footpaths within the city. We construct many of the City’s challenging projects and we strive to deliver projects on time, within budget, safely and to a high standard. About the role As a Site Engineer, you will be providing specialist engineering, construction management, day labour supervision and contract administration expertise in the delivery of road, drainage and footpath infrastructure. The role will require you to work productively as part of a high performing team to ensure achievement of outcomes including building, maintaining and fostering good relationships with colleagues, clients and team members. You will have demonstrated experience as an Engineer within the road maintenance and construction industry. Things we’ll trust you with - Working with limited direction and act as Superintendent’s Site Representative, providing expert advice to supervisory staff and contractors, and accept responsibility for decision-making in project delivery.
- Performing your duties in accordance with all relevant safety procedures, guidelines, policies, JSEA and promoting a safety culture in the workplace
- Effectively managing the development of road and drainage infrastructure projects.
- Representing our organisation in a positive manner and proactively contribute to team’s success.

- Degree /Diploma or Associate Diploma in Civil Engineering is desirable
- Experience in procurement of civil infrastructure construction contracts
