The City of Logan is one of Australia’s fastest growing local government areas with a dynamic and diverse community. Now more than ever we need to ensure that the most vulnerable members of our community are engaged and supported.

We are looking for Non-executive Directors to help lead the City of Logan Charitable Trust through responsible, effective, and innovative philanthropy.

To successfully fulfil this role, you will need to have knowledge of a director’s role, including the corporate governance, legal, ethical, fiduciary, and financial responsibilities that are intrinsic to the position. Your instinct and judgement combined to provide sound strategic advice and analysis of opportunities that are presented to you. Your passion to inspire positive change will see you actively engaging with corporate and community leaders to generate and responsibly distribute funds.

Ideally you have either a finance, ICT, government relations or fundraising background or a role that represents or works with different groups across our diverse community. You would also be a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Integrity is at the heart of the City of Logan Charitable Trust. You will be called upon for your independent thought, which will be both innovative and collaborative. We encourage you to engage in robust and constructive discussions to achieve important outcomes that will provide for our residents and shape the city’s future.

We invite people from all backgrounds to apply and to be a part of an inclusive and diverse culture.

If you’re interested in this key position, as a member of the City of Logan Charitable Trust Board, please submit a letter of no more than two pages outlining your suitability for the role.
