About the role

As a Lifeguard you will be required to work across our various Aquatic facilities. Your day-to-day schedule comprises of being part of a diverse team, working together to ensure all patrons at our centres have a safe and enjoyable experience. You will ideally be a great communicator, work well in a team and have flexibility to adapt to multiple tasks.

We're looking for 10 Lifeguards to join our team! The goal for this role will be to become a key member of our aquatics team, providing a high level of pool supervision and ensuring the safety of our aquatics centres throughout Logan, providing a safe and enjoyable facility for all patrons. We are seeking candidates with the following experience/qualifications:

  • Pool Lifeguard Certification
  • Resuscitation (CPR) Certification
  • First Aid Certification
  • Blue Card (Paid)
  • Minimum of 12 months experience in a Lifeguard role
  • Ability to work across a 7-day week roster (weekend availability is a must)

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Provide a high level of supervision to all patrons in Aquatic Centres.
  • Ability to confidently carry out rescues, provide First Aid and CPR when required.
  • Maintain the pool and aquatic facilities with general cleaning and always following the guidelines for Safe Pool Operations (RLSSA).
  • Provide clear communication to all patrons, to always ensure the safe use of facilities.
